We’ve been keeping something very special under wraps for a few months now. Life has been buuuu-sssssy to say the least, lot’s of new going on for us! We are finally ready! I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to snap some photos of our boys but the day finally revealed itself. Our little wild man, Beckam, is 19 months now and has a mind of his own, wanting to do his own agenda. So this mini shoot turned out to be a marathon for both Daddy and I. We pulled up to our planned spot to find construction going on yards away, loud noise and all. I knew instantly this would be fun, lol. Props were placed in record time and the boys were placed in their designated spots, only Beckam stayed in his all but 1 second. Imagine picking up your toddler every few snaps to place him back, he’d run away giggling thinking he ruled the world. Having to holler over the construction in order to direct “BOYS” was a challenge as well. I eventually started snapping the crazy reality unfolding before me laughing. Roman is 1 month shy of being 6 years old, oh my soul! He was a trooper and maintained his stance with the unexpected chill in the air. This is it! What we have to work with but we couldn’t be prouder all the while to share. This NEW blessing was not exactly planned, like our first 2, but we sure are BLESSED beyond MEASURE! We are proud to share God has blessed our family of 4 with a SISTER coming August 2017!!! I just cannot believe! We are elated and feel so humbled and excited for her presence. We are 15 weeks now and have known for 5 weeks now to expect PINK!
Roman has been very proud and excited since he found out he would be getting another sibling. He would come up to me multiple times a day following the news and ask me, “Aren’t you so happy we are going to have another baby?” He was literally in shock when we found out in the genetics letter we were expecting a girl. He eventually warmed up to the idea of having barbies and dolls around the house when Daddy shared we could get a castle and Roman could be the knight protecting his Mom the Queen and sister the Princess, from the dragon Daddy, and Beckam could be the prince. He is counting down the days to be able to do that.
Now to settle on the name to call our daughter and finally shop in the girls section! <3 <3 <3 Thank you God for this blessing, we are so very thankful!
